April 20, 1945 – January 24, 2025
Fredrick Earl Beebee was born April 20, 1945, and passed away on January 24, 2025. He grew up in California, attending several schools before graduating from Chico High School. After serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, he moved to Oregon and earned a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University.
Fred was the only son of Mary Beacham Beebee and Fredrick Kingsbury Beebee and had three sisters: Carolyn, Mary Lou (surviving), and Sylvia. He is survived by the mother of his children, Linda Taylor Beebee; daughters, Alicia (Michael) Heer, Angie Beebee Holston, and Marci (Doug) Wodtli; and seven grandchildren: Anika Wodtli, Andrew Wodtli, Taylor Heer, Carter Heer, Garret Heer, Naleena Srivastava, and Christine Holston.
Fred bravely fought a four-year battle with cancer, caused by exposure to Agent Orange during his military service. He passed away at home in Madras, with all three daughters by his side. His 80 years were full of love, adventure, and generosity. We miss him deeply, but take comfort knowing he lived a good life. Rest in peace.
